Oh my goodness Julian and Autumn are hot. M writes some of the best alpha males and this book is no different. Autumn has always loved Julian. She did all she could to gain his attention, until he gave in. Julian is a foster kid who became a part of her family, her brother's best friend. Then one day he walked away breaking her heart. Fast forward to the present and Autumn is being hired to be his publicist.

He has no intention of letting her get away, and she has no intention of falling into his trap. Except a love as strong as theirs is not to be denied. When Autumn's secret is revealed Julian ups his game and refuses to lose. I love that Autumn is a strong female and takes no crap. The banter and sexual tension between the two is off the charts.

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review. Amy Jarecki is a new author for me, when I saw the cover. I thought a story about a Highland warrior is one of my favorite types of historicals. I was not disappointed a bit this is the start of a new series.
