Home on the Range
This book was an emotional story dealing with a broken marriage, personal insecurities, as well as a personal loss. Elsa is a child psychologist who has dealt with a loss. She blames herself for it and now suffers from panic attacks. Her sister trying to help her recommend her to a student's family. Enter Nick Stafford and his lovely girls. Cheyenne is still not dealing with her mom leaving after a few years. Thus an agreement is formed and soon the girls are each getting some form of help from Elsa.
Feelings develop, but ignored on Elsa's part, her believing that the girls come first. When their mother returns, many revelations are revealed. The biggest can Nick forgive Whitney enough to let her try. Still, she ends up disappointing her daughters. Yet in the process, Nick has learned Elsa's secret, at least part. Can they overcome their issues, and accept what is meant to be. It's a story of letting God lead you in the right direction. Trusting in his quiet grace. I received this book from Blogging for books in exchange for honest review. I really loved the story and the underlying message.
