The Little French Bistro by

Marianne is at a low and picks a place to end it all after forty years of marriage. A man interrupts her plans and pulls her from the river. Much to her dismay and frustration, the sassy woman gives her rescuer a piece of her mind. Letting her rant and rave he calmly held her. As far as once the tears came he rocked he as he would a child. Taking her with him, he dragged her with him. Soon she ends up working in a cafe as a chef. In between finding her way it seems, of learning to be comfortable in your own skin.l The book was not so bad just wish we had more time to meet the characters. I do love the theme of the book and that it is not abo...

Trey the nephew who was adopted by Sam Stafford, tests positive as a donor. He jumps at the chance to be able to save his uncle/adopted father. Regretting not giving up singing, he's made his home closer to Nashville. Though at the chance to help he is back. On his way back, he has a small fender bender with Lucy Carlton. Lucy is devastated as her profit is lost in the river. Then Sam asks Trey to help Lucy to make amends for his wrong doing. The attraction is there though Lucy has many other worries. As well as not ready to trust her feelings. Time has shown her how her choices turn out. Though she regrets nothing as it gave her, her children. Still, she and Trey both must see beyond the surface and trust in God and each other. When Trey is ill from the transplant the scare is all too real of losing him forever. Accepting Sam's help as a ...
