A chance encounter. An unlikely hero.
Broken Sparrow by Chelle Bliss is now live!
Morris has always dedicated himself to his brothers in the Disciples MC, choosing the freedom of the open road over the monotony of family life. But a chance encounter with a single mother on the run causes his protective alpha instincts to kick into overdrive.
Alice Sparrow thought she had planned her escape perfectly, but everything that could go wrong, did. Bank account emptied. Broken-down car. No place to stay. But when she bumps into a handsome biker, she doesn't have the luxury of walking away from his help, especially when she must keep her daughter safe.
What is supposed to be a simple act of kindness quickly turns into something bigger and more complicated than either expects...especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
Broken Sparrow is a steamy age-gap, single mother, hot biker standalone romance that's guaranteed to bring the steam and the feels.

My Review
Alice has been planning her escape from her husband for some time. With her sister's purchase of a new dog. It seems to be a perfect chance to use a reason to visit her sister or so it seems. Only it's a ruse and she escapes with her little girl. There are hiccups a long the way and a chance encounter with a gruff biker Morris. He notices the signs of something not right and after helping her at a gas station. Morris puts his number in her phone. Knowing she is gonna need help one day.
Morris is a biker who is now the VP of his club after they broke off from a larger MC. During a visit to a property he purchased for the club. Alice calls and he races to help her, deciding she should stay in his apartment. The two have a lot of chemistry, and they are off the charts. If you like age-gap, and MC romance with an adorable kid thrown in. Then this is for you. I loved the story and how brave Alice was in planning her freedom.

Once I started I couldn't put it down. I finished it in one setting. Skye writes about characters with "Real issues". So much so that you can feel their happiness, frustration and more. The romance between Rachel and Nathan is a wild emotional ride that I couldn't get off. I was happy yet sad (in the way of it bein...
