My review

First, let me say just wow, Maria Luis is new to me. I loved this book it's full of intrigue and the romance between Saxton and Isla is just electric. Saxton's lived a hard life. Learned many life lessons, he's hard and dangerous. Isla is my favorite type of heroine. A little vulnerable and a whole lot brave. When the two of them connect it's changes  them for the better. Two lovers connect despite the danger and secrets each keep. That ending was just breath stealing. I can't wait to read the next book. If you're like me and Maria is a new author for you. I promise you will be blown away.

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review. Amy Jarecki is a new author for me, when I saw the cover. I thought a story about a Highland warrior is one of my favorite types of historicals. I was not disappointed a bit this is the start of a new series.
