Knight In Highland Armor by Amy Jarecki

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review. Amy Jarecki is a new author for me, when I saw the cover. I thought a story about a Highland warrior is one of my favorite types of historicals. I was not disappointed a bit this is the start of a new series. Lord Colin Campbell's wife died during child birth and he decides no more falling in love. The loss hurts to much to live through the chance of loosing another wife. So he petitions the king in help for finding a wife to care for his son. As he is sure he will be called to serve in the Crusades in the holy land. Enter Margaret Robinson she is thrilled when her father recieves a missive from the king. Until she learns she is to be married to the Black Knight. He only sees her as a mother for his son, she wants more. He arrives at one of his holdings to learn that construction is not going as smoothly as he hoped. Margaret talks with some of the women despite being told to stay put. She learns who they believe to be resp...

Heart of the Serpent “Hades Carnival” by N.J. Walters

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for a honest review. This is book five of the series and it's Mordecai and Jessica's story. Mordecai and the other shape shifting warriors have defeated Hades with their Lady Goddess's help. Mordecai still feels there is darkness in him after, spending so much time in Hell with Hades. He feels that maybe he should leave and distance himself from the woman who has a hold on his heart. Jessica feels as though Mordecai is done with her and their friendship. She moved in the apartment at his urging, but since doing so he has basically stopped spending time with her. One night she decides to confront him thinking if he feels nothing or if she was just a means to an end. Then it is time for her to move out because she loves him. She sees the good in himself even when he can't. Once she makes it known to Mordecai she intends to leave and why. He kisses her and then she knows that her serpent wants her just as much as she wants hi...

Call of te Bear Part 2

Part 2 is fast paced and wonderful. Carly and Brady are hot and steamy. Their wedding is happening and she is feeling sentimental. She's remembering her mom. Who just left when she was young. In this part we meet others from different clans. Victor who is a slick sort of man and I don't mean in a good way. We also meet a woman well shifter who Carly feels some kind of connection with. Before she has a chance to explore that Victor crosses a line with Sierra. Carly jumps to her aid. As well as later Keitg, but what will happen will Sierra stay Keith's mate? As we all wonder that while anxiously awaiting part 3.

Unbound

This is Zachary the Lion guard's story. I won't give spoilers as I don't believe in ruining the story for others. I will say he takes a much needed vacation. Sara brings us a new element to the Amoveo. What it will mean later who knows as she always pleasantly surprises me. I love how Zach finds his mate and well she is not someone you would expect. Which to me makes it even better, it is a beautifully written story. I can't wait to read more I love the Amoveo and don't want the series to end.

Call of the Bear Part 1

First Let me say I am hooked. Beautiful curvy women and Bears oh my. I received this book from the author for an honest review. Carly has been having dreams and later learns her best friend has too. They decide to listen to the dream and follow clues to travel to Maine. Along the way they meet two other women who have had similar dreams. Carly is beautiful but not always comfortable in her skin so to speak. She is trying though and Sierra is there to give big pep talks and just be her adventurous bf. I love how I can in some ways relate I am a curvy woman who was not always comfortable in my own skin. I can also with Sierra as well now a days. Can't wait to read part 2
