I was given this book by the author for a honest review. Tasha Black is a new author for me. I am so glad I found out about her though. I don't want to give spoilers as I believe you should read this. This is the story of Ainsley Connor learning and accepting who and what she is.In her journey of self she learns secrets she didn't know. One shocking truth that in a sense has affected her life deeply. What I love is Ainsley is not one of those women needing saved. She is a smart kickass woman, who finds out just how special she is. It is a deeply emotional read that is wonderfully written. The ending ties up loose ends but at the same time leaves you wondering(in the best way) I now want to know what happens next after an ending like that though. Hoping there will be more to come.

I received this book from Netgalley for an honest review. Amy Jarecki is a new author for me, when I saw the cover. I thought a story about a Highland warrior is one of my favorite types of historicals. I was not disappointed a bit this is the start of a new series.
