Escape between the Covers

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This story follows up on Ainsely and Eric. Ainsely is dealing with some control issues magic wise. A new danger is in Tarker's Hallow. No one knows what just yet. Grace, Ainsely' s best friend is just started dating a new guy. Yet she kinda feels attracted to Julian, Ainsely' s magic tutor. When this new danger strikes so close to home. What will happen? As Grace gets some new leads something happens to both of them. I definitely will be needing/ buying the next installment.

I love paranormal romance and that it's a Christmas story. Well that made it even better. It's a story of fate and love at first sight. Conner Reece fell in love with Mara a few years before at a friend's wedding. Now fate has put Mara in his path. He doesn't want to live without her. Yet he worries his family will kill her. Not to mention he worries she won't be able to accept what he is. Mara loves him as much as he loves her. He has to let her go in his mind, but his mother takes that out of his hands. As only a mother can do,who truly wants the best for her child. I love how Conner bares his heart and soul to Mara, leaving himself vulnerable. No Mara does not fall to his feet but she doesn't runaway either. She lets him know she loves him and that she could never see him as a monster. They find a way to be together and do exactly that. I loved this book and will be looking for more of her books.

Curse of the Alpha: The Complete Bundle by Tasha Black My rating: 5 of 5 stars I was given this book by the author for a honest review. Tasha Black is a new author for me. I am so glad I found out about her though. I don't want to give spoilers as I believe you should read this. This is the story of Ainsley Connor learning and accepting who and what she is.In her journey of self she learns secrets she didn't know. One shocking truth that in a sense has affected her life deeply. What I love is Ainsley is not one of those women needing saved. She is a smart kickass woman, who finds out just how special she is. It is a deeply emotional read that is wonderfully written. The ending ties up loose ends but at the same time leaves you wondering(in the best way) I now want to know what happens next after an ending like that though. Hoping there will be more to come. Ainsely Conner has come home to clear out her parents home. She left for college years ago after learning what she was, a wolf. Not only did she learn that but that her father was the alpha. She stayed away and seems to have the perfect life back in New York. She has no intention in staying much to many of the pack's dismay. You see she must choose a mate to become alpha. Will she stay and just who will she choose. That is the question,but something is going on is Ainsely in danger? This is an author I will be on the lookout for! Grace & Josh have a steamy one night stand..Neither believing they would cross paths again. Though they do much to their surprise. Sparks fly amid war torn Afghanistan, I loved how tough Grace is. Josh was very protective of her but at the same time let her be the strong woman she was. It's a great start to the series I look forward to reading more.

Rafe Sullivan got his story. Rafe is a private investigator who is tired of investigating cheaters. So when his childhood summer home is put up for sale he buys it. He then goes there for some R&R. There he sees Brooke the sweet girl from next door is all grown up and gorgeous. Brooke is now living in her grandparents old home. She is working to become a successful truffle maker. When she offs Rafe a place to stay because his old home needs some work. The sparks fly and as their relationship gets deeper. Can Rafe not be the Private Investigator for once. They both must accept each other as they for their love to last. It is great to see them grow as people and a couple. This is a must read for fans of the Sullivan 's.

I recently read Vampire Trouble by Sara Humphreys recently and well she's done it again! This is Maya & Shane's story we met them in the first book. I will admit I was not sure how I felt about Maya. She seemed selfish. But I got to know Maya,she is so much more. She is a kickass warrior,a sister to her coven members and more. As always when you read any of Sara's books. She takes you on a journey. I loved reading Maya and Shane's story. There are interesting developments that keep you turning the pages.I loved how their story turned out. Thanks Sara for another awesome story.
